Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and undertake the development of reports and dashboards on BIS within defined timelines
- Collect inputs from functions, stakeholders, IT team to identify the requirements for software applications, query reports, and other requests
- Understand project requirements, prepare checklists/task lists for developing existing / new software applications
- Develop application by undertaking required coding/modifications of the identified software platform within defined timelines in adherence to defined SLAs
- Ensure application addresses user pain points and requirements aligning to business and security principles
- Review status, regularly update seniors on the progress of development projects and estimated time of delivery
- Track and escalate issues including non-conformances to software development guidelines, technical specifications, and other challenges in the projects
- Maintain applications through timely troubleshooting for identified bugs, ensuring FTRR and on-time delivery, conducting regular testing, and also providing support to users on queries
- Ensure smooth operations of day-to-day processes including regular job runs/query reports for internal customers/users
- Develop test cases for various usage scenarios of applications, collaborate with the team to analyze options, and finalize testing procedures
- Define user output expected and tolerance levels for test cases
- Conduct tests on all software & query reports developed according to multiple test cases identified
- Participate in user acceptance testing of software, collate inputs from users on features, errors, and bugs
- Recode application / develop software patches as required to rectify all identified bugs, errors
- Implement application in live IT environment, ensure smooth integration with existing IT architecture and legacy software
- Provide training to users on applications, track usage statistics, adoption of software, and provide resolutions to all queries raised by users
- Ensure uptime for software as per defined SLAs and conduct periodic maintenance of support infrastructure as per defined plans
- Conduct troubleshooting for issues, and bugs observed during usage as per defined guidelines and timelines
- Prepare documentation on BI reports and dashboards
- Document steps of ERP customizations in prescribed formats and capture details as required on software versions used, change logs, bugs identified and addressed, etc.
- Develop SOPs, visual guides for the usage of software/query reports, share with users, and update documents as required
- Prepare MIS reports on software usage, troubleshooting, etc., and provide them to the team for further analysis
- Participate in software development projects taken up by the team to enhance the efficiency and utility of existing software
