Job Description
Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain Epicor Products.Manages one or more scrum teams overseeing performance of individual team members and the team as a wholeLead a team of product developers with direction, coaching, and support to ensure successful execution of objectives.Provide timely and clear work direction to deliver outcomes.Establish functional requirements and review solutions to ensure organizational needs are met.Estimates, prioritizes, plans, assigns and coordinates development activities.Work with and lead agile development team and to ensure development process are tracked and followed.Will may act as a scrum master on projects under developmentIdentifies and addresses staff training and career / development needsUnderstand product architecture and demonstrate the same as requiredWork with developers on their career plan and provide performance feedback.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to develop and mentor others.Strong decision-making skills.Customer Orientation.Strong communication skills, analytical skills, and thorough understanding of product development.QualificationsHands on experience in Python or AngularJS/Angular/C#/Java experience would be great plus or Any other popular object oriented programming language.Experience working in Agile environment.Experience developing/managing enterprise application. Product development background would be great to have.Understanding of design patterns, principle and Object-Oriented Design.Domain experience on ERP Retail or related product areas.Setting up process for code quality & coding practices.Interface effectively and collaborate with teams, peers, and management to develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in.Strong analytical, communication and written skills with the ability to convey clear and concise thoughts and ideas.Should have good interpersonal and team management skills.Previous experience of team metrics on efficiency, productivity, quality, attendance, innovation etc.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or appropriate computer science related certificate) OR MCA10+ years’ experience in Development and minimum of 3 years as a Development Manager.About EpicorAt Epicor, we’re truly a team.
