Job Description:
In this role, you will be part of our Devices and Services product area and the Silicon Engineering Productivity (EngProd) team. You will contribute to the development of different products that combine the best of Google AI, hardware, and software. The Silicon EngProd team’s mission is to maintain and continually improve the productivity of our Silicon team who develops custom silicon (chip) solutions, optimizing performance and power for our use cases. We are building for scale and operating the front-end CAD tools, flows, and methodologies that are used to develop custom silicon.
Responsibilities
- Define and develop software that provides the tooling, infrastructure, and automation necessary to create design systems, enabling chip development with greater levels of efficiency and reliability while managing increasingly complex chip designs.
- Enhance and maintain existing design systems for scale.
- Design and build automated testing frameworks to increase the quality of software releases.
- Enable observability in design systems and develop dashboards.
