Responsibility:

Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)

  •  0 to 6 months (More than 6 months Exp is not allowed)
  • Extensive experience in using CATIA V5
  • Good all round design skills which must include past experience of working on at least one of aggregates like – frame, steering, suspension, brakes, fuel system, exhaust etc.
  • Team Centre Engineering (TCE)/PLM
  • Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.
  • 2021/2022 Pass out Batch Only
  • Very highly skilled to Carry out 3D modelling, 2D drawings, assembly in Catia-V5 (Module – Surfacing, assembly, drafting, kinematics, DMU etc.)
  • Good knowledge of GD&T and Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes like casting, forging, sheet metal.
  • DMU management, integrating vehicle systems & project coordination.
  • Reviewing existing benchmarking data and obtaining new data as required.
  • Responsible for CAD sign-off, BOM creation/ management.
  • Conduct/ participate regular design reviews and escalate issues.
  • Verification of the detail designs for prototype building.
  • Utilizes technical skills and design experience to plan, organize and lead.
  • Co-ordinate design activities.
  • Ensure quality of the CAD design, drawings & speed of delivery.
  • Workout modularisation & standardisation proposals.
  • Technical documentation & design change analysis.

CAE Analyst-CFD

  • 3 to 6 Year s of experience in CFD HVAC, full vehicle modelling
  • Strong basic knowledge in Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and Multi-phase flows
  • Strong knowledge in CFD fundamentals
  • Should have worked on CFD packages like Star CCM+, ANSA, Hypermesh with Abaqus would give additional advantages. (Ansys Fluent/CFX)
  • Experience in meshing complex geometries, selecting appropriate turbulence mod els, solving and interpretation of results based on CFD results.
  • Should be able to provide solutions to product engineering team based on results
  • Experience in simulation & experimental/test data correlation
  • Programming/scripting knowledge will be added advantage

CAE – Engineer Crash & Safety

  • Performing baseline Crash simulations, root cause analysis, summarise results with issues identifications and alternative design solutions to meet project targets.
  • He needs to make use of various CAE tools to support design confirmation, test support and test-to-CAE correlation.
  • Regular interaction with the Project Team Leader, Liaison Engineer and Component Module Leaders in an efficient manner to give conclusive feedback and design recommendations.
  • Awareness of potential design constraints (packaging, manufacturing etc.) and ensure due consideration is given in developing solutions
  • Prepare project plan from Crash Analysis perspective, resource allocation and ensure the delivery of project on/before time, meeting quality criteria as mandated by the CAE Project Leader / Liaison Engineer
  • Should have mini mum 9600 hours work experience in any CAE Pre-and Post-processor, Preferably Hyper mesh/ ANSA/ Primer/ Ls-Dyna /Radioss or any other reverent CAE tools.
  • Experience in analysis and post processing of full vehicle high speed crash and sub system level quasi static load.
  • Past experience in providing BIW / closures related counter measures and design suggestions. Knowledge of optimization techniques and processes.
  • Experience in CAE to test co-relation, vehicle target settings and refinements as per latest automotive trends.
  • Theoretical knowledge of finite element analysis. Good communication, report writing, technical documentation and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of different regulatory and non-regulatory requirements.
  • Preference for cross domain basic knowledge of NV H and Durability.

Design Engineer_ Vehicle Integration

  • Carry out 3D modeling, 2D drawings, assembly in PTC Creo
  • DMU management  & integrating automotive systems
  • Good knowledge of automotive  systems
  • Knowledge of DFMEA & root cause analysis
  • Conceptualise & workout detail designs
  • Conduct design reviews & co-ordination with CFT
  • Vehicle Performance Calculations
  • Project documentation & preparation for management reviews
  • Involve in benchmark studies
  • Prepare vehicle technical specs & offer drawings
  • Prepare vehicle layouts
  • Technical documentation
  • Co-ordination for prototype build and support
  • Workout value engineering proposals
  • Interact with suppliers for component development
  • Prepare project time plans
  • Exp in Automotive OEM SCV/LCV/ICV/HCV/BUSES

Design Engineer-BIW Design

  • The job requires domain knowledge of BIW Design for Automotive components and assemblies Sheet Metal Design , modeling, master sections, DMU, interaction with DMU team, PE, APL team for DFM and DFA, interaction with styling Knowledge of sheet metal forming and welding assemblies CATIA expertise, in solid, surface modeling, assembly modeling, 3D annotations
  • Good working Knowledge of regulations and engineering processes like DFMEA, DVP, DFM, DFA and DFS, DVP, etc.
  • PLM knowledge and knowledge of Vehicle BOM and Engineering BOM knowledge of BIW regulations, performance testing and validations.
  • Work out detail engineering and TPL creation and Release in PLM Define val idation plan of BIW components and assemblies on component level meeting all requirements of functionality, performance and quality as per TML standards.
  • Understand and implement feedback from all internal agencies within TML and external agencies (components uppliers, engineering service provider) for design, engineering, development and Launch of vehicle.
  • POST launch engineering support to resolve all manufacturing, Weight, Quality and Cost reduction activities. Participate in the TML initiatives like VAVE , weight reduction and quality improvements and deliver as per given target of cost, quality and weight.

Design Engineer-Trims

  • Candidates should have hands on experience in Automotive Plastic Interior Trim Design ( Cabin/ Cockpit/ IP/ DP/ Console/ Climate)
  • Should have knowledge of interior interfaces & packaging requirements
  • Decide Mounting & fixing strategy
  • Communicate with the customer on day to day activities.
  • Should have knowledge related to design of Trim components & Master sections,
  • Should have knowledge of GD & T, Manufacturing process,
  • Should have knowledge of BOM management, DMU Management,
  • Tracking and maintaining detailed timing plans for the components/systems
  • Identification & Documentation of any non-compliances to design rules
  • Should be able to conduct/Participate regular design reviews and escalate issues requiring help to management
  • Should be able to communicate effectively with Client, within team, suppliers and with Other stakeholders
  • Support Lead Engineer in Design review, DFMEA to optimize design.
  • Should have experience of CATIA V6 CatiaV5, Surface modelling, 2D creation, Annotation, Product structure
  • Component release in PLM System
  • Experience on CAD tools – Catia V5, CatiaV6, Teamcenter, Enovia
  • General Engineering knowledge, Automobile, Plastics, strength of material etc.
  • Exposure to design and development environment.
  • Experience on design standards and drafting guidelines.
