Experienced Informatica PowerCenter Developer with Big Data Hadoop technical expertise
1. 3 + years of Informatica PowerCenter experience as a designer and developer
2. 3 + years of Big Data and Hadoop experience as a designer and developer with multiple Hadoop technical skills
3. Strong experience in Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) data from various sources into Data Warehouses and Data Marts using Informatica Power Center (Repository Manager, Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, Metadata Manager), PowerConnect as ETL tool on Oracle, and SQL Server Databases.
4. Expertise in Data Warehouse/Data mart, ODS, OLTP, and OLAP implementations teamed with project scope, Analysis, requirements gathering, data modeling, Effort Estimation, ETL Design, development, System testing, Implementation, and production support.
5. Strong experience in Dimensional Modeling using Star and Snow Flake Schema, Identifying Facts and Dimensions
6. Used various transformations like Filter, Expression, Sequence Generator, Update Strategy, Joiner, Stored Procedure, and Union to develop robust mappings in the Informatica Designer.
7. Developed mapping parameters and variables to support SQL override.
8. Created mapplets to use them in different mappings.
9. Created sessions, configured workflows to extract data from various sources, transformed data, and loading into the data warehouse.
10. Used Type 1 SCD and Type 2 SCD mappings to update slowly Changing Dimension Tables.

20. Build, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Hadoop infrastructure.
21. Develop tools and libraries, and maintain processes for other engineers to access data and write MapReduce programs.
22. Develop documentation and playbooks to operate Hadoop infrastructure.
23. Write Code to ingest data into Hadoop.
