Position Title: Regional Logistics Manager- Mumbai Location: Bhiwandi (Thane)No of Positions: 1Total Experience: 8 to 15 YearsQualification: Graduation (Full Time) /MBA (Preferred)Reporting to: DGM-LogisticsDirect Reporting: 1 (On Rolls)Languages Known- English & Hindi & Local Language (Preferred) Industry- FMCD (Small Appliances, preferably)/FMCG/FMEG/Luggage /Building Material.Key Responsibilities- Warehousing-Identifying, Selection & Appointment of 3PL/CFA service partners for warehousingDay-to-day monitoring of 5-6 DC/RWs/CWS WarehousesEnsuring operational efficiencies & cost management of Warehouses along with regular reporting on costs as compared to annual budgetsLead warehouse capability enhancement projects and drive the implementation with the delivery of results.Responsible for warehouse agreements and the closures.Functional Audit of all warehousesHandle in New Warehouse launch – Planning and StrategyShould be abreast with latest taxation rules with regards to warehousing in India (GST Impact)Expertise in Warehouse Management systems(WMS) and their integration with various other supply chain systemsResponsible for effective inventory management and planning and well versed with different planning techniques (min-max, reorder point etc.)Responsible for Daily, Weekly, & Monthly warehouse KPIs and for managing all the operational metricsResponsible for warehouse Cost control, Authority Delegation and Process enhancement and improvement measures.Support Head Logistics in the execution of the warehouse’s strategyShould have in-depth knowledge & understanding of warehousing SOPs along with clear understanding of every warehouse processes in Detail and should be able to implement new IT/ Automation techniques and processes wherever required.Transportation (First Mile + Mid Mile & Last Mile)-Responsible for new initiatives and Innovations for TransportationAppointment and management of carriers.Vendor Management and Negotiation of freightResponsible for overall cost optimization and AOP budget planning as per the targetsEffective load allocation to freight partners and monitoring operational Performances.Constantly evaluate new freight partners to expand coveragePartner Management – mentoring and grooming by technology intervention and getting them on a singular platform for effective management.Conducting audits at Transporter HUBs & WHs to ensure adherence of SOPsAssisting Regional planning & executing new Logistics projectsMaintaining and monitoring SLA’s whilst keeping the costs in control.Adept in Transportation Management System and its Integration.Well versed with Last Mile delivery planningEnsuring for desired transport service levels as per targets within the allocated cost budgetPlanning and implementing initiatives for enhancing customer experience in transportSupply & Inventory Management-Ensuring targeted placement efficiency SKU branch level for all channels against the requirements given in the S&OP process.Ownership of the demand & supply planning for the region against the S&OP targets.Liaise with Plant, Regional & Mother warehouses to ensure the availability of the product across the channels.Fill rate fulfilment targeted % against orders given for various channels.People & Stakeholders management-Defined, communicated, and trained the regional executive & Outsourced Partners on the SOP laid down for warehouse & transport managementDevelop required competencies in the regional executiveImpart training for enhancing skills & new technologies/initiatives.Liaise with Regional Sales, Service, Commercial & external vendors.Remarks-Experience in Logistics Operation is compulsory, & Candidates from Accounts & Commercial will not be considered.Exposure to CFA operation is a must.On-roll team Handling is a must.Travel requirement (Minimum 10 Days across their respective Zones)Working Knowledge of SAP is preferred, & Good Working knowledge of Excel is compulsory.Good Communication & Influencing Skills.Looking for stable candidates only (Frequent job changes will be not considered).Local Candidates will be preferred.
